A universal truth

This is a forum to inform , to join , to  unite , to  eliminate  misunderstandings , to remove hatred,  animosity   and  finally to  bring unity , peace , tolerance , tranquility ,  friendship , harmony   and trust among all the inhabitants of the world and  beyond  the frontiers of this earth if there are any. If you really believe in  Islam , if you  preach Islam and if you practice what you believe , you  have nothing  to  fear  from  anyone  but  more  importantly,  nobody should  be  afraid  of you, for you as a believer, just cannot  bring  any harm , any pain , any  grief to any one. This is the trust every MUSLIM  has to build among all the  non muslims , irrespective of the color, caste, creed, region or background . This is possible only, if you know, what  really  ISLAM  is .

What is Islam

ISLAM means salamati  , that is welfare for one and all . It is a  way  of  life , as ordained by God through His messengers or the Prophets .  Islam is not a religion invented  or founded by prophet Mohammed, as is usually believed, unfortunately by some of the followers of Islam. It is a religion based on NATURE , A RELIGION  prescribed  by the GOD , the Creator Himself , for the welfare of  mankind , from the beginning of the creation of this earth . Prophet Mohammad was in fact sent  as the  last  and  the  final  among  a  large number of prophets , sent  from time to time in every region to guide the mankind through His messengers ,  chosen  from among His special subjects. Muslims  believe them to be one lac twenty four thousand  in all , beginning  from  Hazrat Adam  and the last being  Hazrat Mohammad (s.a.w.s ). Hazrat Adam and  Hazrat  Hauvah  ( popularly known in English as Adam and Eve ) , who  were  the first couple on this earth and who  guided their children and they their  children and this continued through centuries , till  the holy  advent  of  Prophet Mohammad (s.a.w.s ) in the 7th century A.D.These  messengers of God, the Prophets, shown the  straight  way  and  the  right  path (sirat-e-mustaqeem ) that is  the correct way to live with all the do's and dont's as  God ordained for the peoples of their respective times. Naturally for  a religion confirming to NATURE and  in the  process  of constant  evolution, the values  and  the details changed from time to time and it is precisely for this reasion , that  one  may  find  some amendments  from  one  divine commandment , issued at  the time of  one  prophet to the other, though the basics always  remained  the  same . From  the  books  of  various divine  scriptures , preserved and existing , we read  the names of some very eminent Prophets .Beginning from the first, Hazrat Adam, and a score of others and then more widely known  Hazrat Sulaiman , Hazrat  Nooh , Hazrat Dawood,, Hazrat Yahya,  Hazrat Yunus , Hazrat Yusuf, Hazrat Eesah , Hazrat Ibraheem, Hazrat Ismaeel and finally Hazrat Mohammad ( Swalallah -o-alehe wa sallam ) Peace be on all of them.  It is no wonder , throughout the  time immemorial , the message remained the same , the Unity of God, truth and peace and therefore what Prophet  Adam, David, Moses, Jesus Christ preached to their followers who were later called by the faiths of different names, was the same Universal Truth on which Mohammad the last  prophet of Islam was asked to put a seal of finality as the process of evolution was complete by then , for all the years to come till Qayamat the last day of Judgment.  It is exactly for this reasion that deen (the religion of Islam) is considered   to be Universal ,final and binding on us all, who believe in nature and the Unity of GOD.

Principles of the faith

Some of the basic principles of Islam on which there is complete unanimity among all the sects of Islam are the  following :-

1.Tauheed , that  is the Unity of God , ie  La ilaha illallah. That there is no God except Allah.( The God , creator of the whole universe).

2.Adl that God is just, benevolent and  merciful to one and all.

3.Naboovat, that is  Nabi or Prophets (messengers of God ) were sent to guide and show the straight path and righteous  direction , from  Hazrat  Adam to the last  Hazrat Mohammad,( s.a.a.s ) .

4.Qayamat. that , ultimately there will be a final day of judgment, when everyone will be rewarded for his or her good deeds and punished for the sins committed during their lifetime.

To this a section of the community adds the 5th , the  Imamat meaning that there is a continuity of divine guidance, after the series  of the prophethood ceased on the demise  of  the last prophet, Hazrat Mohammad (s.a.w.s.), by again the divinely appointed series of  IMAMS ,who were Successors for the spiritual guidance of the ummat ( populace of believer of Islam ), till the time of  Qayamat.

There are five obligation to be followed by every believer of Islam.

1.Salaat . Compulsory prayers five times a a day since the adulthood.

2.Som . that fasting from dusk to dawn in the holy month of Ramazaan

3.Hajj. Pilgrimmage to Kabah once in a lifetime after finishing responsibilities .

4.Khums. A percentage of savings  spent in the welfare of the community.

5.Zakaat. A percentage of earning compulsorily set aside to give in charity.

Islamic-testimony                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         The main declaration of testimony to the faith of islam is kalemah . La ilaha illal lah, Mohammadan rasool-Allah  It is the affirmation of every believer of Islam ,which means ' there is no God except Allah and Mohammad is His Prophet'. As per the holy  book  Quraan revealed in parts from time to time to the Prophet Mohammad (s.a,w.s), like the other divine books Taurait, Zuboor and Ingeel ( bible) revealed to other prophets, all points towards the  existence  of the One  and the only one God, the  supreme power, omnipotent, all  prevailing . ever present , the Creator of this world and every thing beyond , in  His  firm divine control .That undoubtedly means He is the Master of all there is in this  universe and  the other known or unknown galaxies . He has been from ever and will remain for ever beyond the limits of time and space .Since He has Himself created us, He keeps full Knowledge as what we do ,what we think and what we pretend to do , so naturally we have the duty to thank Him for all the bounties , He has created for us, chosen  us to make  us superior to all His creations (ashraf-ul-makhlooqat) and that is why there is the  obligatory five times of prayers which are nothing but a gesture of our admitting of His boundless mercies, gifts and benevolence and our expression of thanks .This should never be taken as any kind of ritual   but  is only an expression  of our gratitude toward  the Almighty. Our daily prayers though addressed to GOD are just for our own good , it does not benefit Him in any way neither He needs them by  any stretch of imagination. An example of this we find in the famous  Sur-e-rehman :-  fabeiya laye rabbekumat to kazzeban   meaning 'for how many bounties granted to you,  you can deny' ? It is  undoubtedly true that neither we can really fulfill the gratitude , for the bounties of nature , we have been so graciously bestowed, nor we can ever deny them .

The holy book and salaat

The first and the most important surah  in the entire holy book of  Quraan  is   Al-hamd which is  like this. Bis millah hir rehman nir raheem. I begin with the name of God who is most merciful and benevolent  Al hamdo lillahe Rabb-il-alemeen All praise be for the God who is the creator of this entire universe. Al-rehman nir raheem  and  He  is the most benevolent and most merciful  Malike yaumiddeen and  He is the master of the day of judgment, Eeyaaka naabudo wa eeyaka nastaeen We pray to You and only to You and ask Your help. Ehdenas saratal mustaqeem we pray to You to show  us the straight  path , saratal lazeena an amta alehim ghairil maghdzoobe alaihim waladzualleen and take us to follow such chosen people on whom You bestowed Your bounties , save and protect us from  such people on whom was your curse. The chosen people are  most popularly believed to be the prophet and his household and the cursed people are all those who opposed them, hurt them and became their enemy and the deniers  of God. , This is the surah called sura-e-Hamd also called sur-e-fateha which is recited twice in each of the five time prayers  in a day beginning from the early morning, noon, afternoon. the prayer in the evening  and in the night. This surah is recited after the Takbeer ie Allah -ho- akbar, meaning God is the greatest. After one hears the call for the prayers ,that is termed as  Azaan, people assemble in the mosque, a priest called pesh namaz or pesh Imam leads the prayers and all the assembled, present there follow him silently till the end of the prayers. The prayers can alternatively be offered at home or where ever it is possible but offering it in a congregation is always better. The special Friday prayers however are congregatory and can be offered only in an assembly of people whether in a mosques or any where else where people can assemble in a congregation. Similar are the prayers on the occasion of the Eids. Over the centuries , there have crept  some differences in the details of the offering of Namaz ,though basically the essentials are still  the same however in this respect the best thing could be for the entire  ummah  to come together and find out how exactly the prophet of Islam and his family offered their prayers . The way the Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (s.o.a.s ) , his daughter , his son-in-law and their sons and later followed by their divine successors, offered their prayers is exactly the right and the correct way ,any amendments to this later by anyone is un authorised and defunct. The  prayers five times in a day from dawn to dusk are compulsory for both men and women, should be offered by the ladies and gents of the ummah (believer in islam ) without fail, exceptions though have been granted in  special circumstances like infirmity, insanity and travel .While traveling  beyond certain distance and stay for less than ten days , it is reduced to a lesser duration .That  is  God's gracious travel concession .

A month long fasting during ramazaan

Som. Also called Roozah . A month long fasting is compulsory for all adults during the  holy month of Ramazan . The fasting starts from the early dawn, before the start of any trace of sky lighting up,that is the end of night, and food. drink even inhaling tobacco smoke etc are not allowed during the fasting , it lasts till the sun sets properly, that is ,  the night begins .This is the time for Maghrib (evening) prayers as well. In the holy Quraan  it is ordained to fast from night to night. It is therefore necessary to make sure that eating should be completely stopped before the appearance of any whiteness on the eastern horizon of the sky and  the aftaar  ie breaking the fast should be well past the sun is set. A few minutes of extra time is logical than to hurry in view of the possibility of difference in watch times and the calculation errors. Recitation from the holy Quraan during the day or the night is the most desirable activity during  the month of Ramazan and this activity in congregation in the night is called Taraveeh which is a good practice though not common in all the sects . Roozah can be deferred in certain conditions like illness and travel for gents and for ladies in their difficult days, pregnancy and lactation, in most of the cases this could be compensated by fasting later or by charity like feeding the poor , the destitute and the  infirm .

Pilgrimage to Mecca

Hajj. From any place the world over, every  muslim has to undertake a journey to the holy Kaabah in Mecca , compulsorily once in a lifetime , provided he / she  can afford the journey, has fulfilled all his or her family commitments and is in a fit state  of health . Some special prayers are offered , clad in a uniform single piece of un stitched cloth covering the whole body, particularly for women Walking around  the  holy  Kaabah , the  first mosque  built  by  prophet  Hazrat Ibraheem in whose memory of offering his son Ismaeel's sacrifice , the Hajj is performed. Hajj  is  performed  a   day before the Eid-uz-zohah in the Islamic month of Zil-hijjah on the ninth .If one can afford, one can perform the Hajj any number of times but is compulsory only once in a life time. If one travels to Mecca on any other occasion , not during the prescribed time and performs the Hajj , he or she can do so and this pilgrimage  will be called umrah instead of the Hajj , though the intrinsic value or the religious gain  ie  ( sawab )  will remain the same .

Wealth is a sacred custody

Khums and zakaat . These are a kind of divine tax  prescribed for every muslim to set aside a certain amount of earnings and savings as an expression of thankfulness towards the Creator , to  be  spent for  the  welfare of the society , to help  down trodden , the poor the destitute , the infirm  and for those who have lost their parent .There are great rewards set aside for the followers of these obligations in the afterlife which is supposed  to  be endless and eternal as compared to the present temporary life ,  which  is very miniscule as well as very un certain..

About the Holy Book of Islam

Quraan , the divine holy book which  in fact, is a collection of revelation to the prophet  of Islam Hazrat Mohammad (s.a.w.s) is a miracle in itself . It is over 1400  years  ago  when  It  was  first revealed , however it is recorded and preserved in its original without a word of change to date and that too with out any kind of controversy. It is a very comprehensive treatise which covers  every aspect of life , however literal translation or knowledge of the Arabic language in which it was revealed is not enough to understand and appreciate it fully as the words are divine and so  the interpretation can differ , that is why to understand and appreciate the text, there is an absolute  need  of reliable divine interpreters  , and  who else can be  more competent  and  qualified than the members of the house hold of the Prophet , comprising of his daughter,Fatima (salam allah alaiha ) his son-in-law Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib ( alaihis salam ) and their sons  Hasan and Husain ( alaihis salam ), who  were  not  only  witness  to  most revelations of the Quraan but also became the cause of many  and  who individually and collectively lived the life exactly as per the tenets of the revelations and also made un paralleled sacrifices when there came a catastrophe on the faith, making such sacrifices and bearing such offences , hurt  and pain which has in fact no parallel in the entire history of mankind , anywhere any time on this earth .The life of  these Noblest of the Nobles was sinless , honest, just and proper in every aspect of the term. No doubt they were born with all the superlative qualities one can imagine and were appropriately called Masoomeen ( meaning those who can never commit a sin ).Their every day conduct of life were the examples in real practice to be followed and emulated by their followers till the time of  qayamat or the day of judgment. There is  a  firm  belief by a large section of the ummah that this distinguished  family was followed  by  equally devout, just, honest and true  followers from the family of massooms , succeeding the Prophet of Islam with divine sanctions , to keep guiding the ummat (followers) till the last day .  Recognizing these noble souls and trying to follow the path shown by them , should be the  prime  aim  of  our  life and that is exactly what we pray in every Namaz in its Sura-e-Alhamd   "Show us the right path and to let us tread the path of those one on whom YOU showered the choicest blessings " ( ehdenasarat al mustaqeemah, seratal lazina an amta alaehim ). It is very important to note here  that  this verse is  followed  by  the  prayers (ghairil mghdzoobe alaihim waladzualleen ) We pray to You to  keep us away and protect us  from the peoples on  whom  were Your curse . One can easily infer that the obvious reference to  the cursed one's are ,  those persons who opposed , conspired against , hurt , even  poisoned  and martyred  these  noble Souls , who  were  none  else  but  God's Own  chosen Ahl-e-bait (allaihumussalam )  ie  the  members  of  the  family  of  Prophet  Mohammad  ( s.a.w.s. ) and   their descendents, holders of the divine succession  of Imamat , for all the time till the day of final judgment (Qayamat) .

Sects in Islam                                                                                                                                                                         There can not be more than one sect in Islam . At least there could not be more than one legitimate one . Many other sects sprang up out of jealousy , greed , hatred and due to the facts that there were a lot of people who did embraced Islam  but only superficially and that is how there have been  a visible Unity  among the peoples around the Prophet of Islam , Hazrat Mohammad ( s.a.a.s ) till his life time , All  the people who embraced Islam , did so  either out  of  conviction , faith  and  understanding  or just  to achieve name, fame,  power and wealth . The later remained in the garb of Muslims , but never believed and accepted  the faith from the core of their hearts and as such quickly came into their true image, immediately on the demise of the prophet of Islam , when the matter of succession came up. It is extremely shameful ,  that  the difference cropped up and  the family of the Prophet of Islam were subjected to all kind of violence, hurt and indignities , which were  inflicted  by the  same people who were considered the best supporters and friends of the Prophet . Murderous assault and  attempts on the life of the most loving daughter of the Rasool, the only offspring of the holy Prophet, were committed  by the same   people, thought  devout and devoted , who rebelled and came out with their true cruel face. The violence and attack on the family of the Prophet of Islam, reached to such proportion that not only the daughter of the holy Prophet Hazrat Fatima  Salam Allah Alaiha  received such serious injuries that too when she was in her pregnancy that the grand child of the prophet of Islam became the first victim who achieved  the  Martyrdom  in his mother's womb. From this shock and the broken ribs , caused by the fall of the door pushed on her, she could not survive for long . Her husband was also subjected to such indignities like tying him up with the ropes and dragging him out. This was the treatment meted to the son in law , husband of his only daughter and to her personally, the lady for whom the prophet of Islam gave the title of the leader of all the ladies of the universe (saiyyadah nisa -ul- aalemeen ), a title given not out of fatherly love but on account of divine revelation. She was the only female member in the family of the Prophet of Islam for  whom the famous Aayat-e-tatheer was revealed , pronouncing her, her husband , her father and her sons , when on a very auspicious occasion , they  all came together under the famous shawl of Yemen, Angel Gibraeel brought the Divine message that God has but this intention to  " Bless all these under this shawl of Yemen and declare that these are the members of the household of Mohammad  from whom every kind of filth has been kept away completely and are Clean as the cleanliness could be " This could be described as the final divine  word  for declaring these five pious souls, ultimate in innocence and free from any kind of  sin whatsoever.  It is very much a known fact that not out of affection and love that the prophet had for his loving daughter , but  to  acknowledge the fact that she was the lady to be respected ,  the Prophet of Islam used to get up in her honor when she used to visit him . Now , behold and see , what she meted out  from the so called friends and companions of Rasool-Allah  s.a a.s )  after his death. The same vested group is said to have  conspired and got Hazrat ALI ( alaih-is-salam) , killed  while He was leading the Morning prayers in the Holy  Mosque of Koofah . Thus the Supreme  Islamic Martyr, who had the distinction of the only born in the Holy Mosque of Kaabah met his divine Martydom  in another  Mosque called Juma Masjid of Koofah while offering the Sajdah . Hazrat Ali ,alai-his-salam , the bravest of the brave was not so weak to have tolerated such indignities by any compulsion, for he was the same person who alone defended the Holy Prophet and conquered all the defensive battles that the Prophet of Islam had to face during, his lifetime . Fearlessly he slept on the bed of the holy Prophet , encircled by enemies brandishing open swords, on the great risk of his own life but with the sole purpose that the life of the Prophet of Islam be spared. This he did on  the advise of the prophet to safe guard his life and slept so peacefully ,  which  he later himself described as the most sound sleep he ever had in his life time. He was doubtlessly recognised as the  bravest of the brave, who knew no defeat and who could never even in his imagination flee from the enemies, but for the fact that he could never have retaliated when the attack was on his person, and could never raised his sword except for defending the faith on which he was first man to witness., for he had opened his eyes only on the lap of the Prophet of Islam when he came into this world. There is a famous incident, during  a battle, Hazrat Ali pinned down his opponent as was his usual ,  but got up all of a sudden and gave  his opponent a rare reprieve , stayed for some time before he felled  him  again and sent him to his proper destination, the Hell with a single stroke of His Zulfiqar ( the divine sword ). Some one from the companions of the prophet, ignorant as he was, asked Hazrat Ali, Ya Ali, what was this wisdom that after you pinned  him down , you just got up and gave him reprieve which could  have been extremely dangerous to you, to which Hazrat Ali replied , that the moment his opponent fell, he spat on my face which naturally made me angry, if I , in that moment of my anger and hurt to my person , I would have killed him , for his insulting to me personally , it would not have been a war fi sabeelilah ( for the sake of God's blessings) but for avenging to my personal hurt.  Such was the true and great  understanding between him , the God and His Prophet. His two sons , became the next victims of these vested interests. Yazid's father , as most people believe  hatched a conspiracy and got killed the elder grand child of the Prophet Hazrat Mohammad ,  Hazrat  Imam Hasan alaihissalam  from  treacherous  poisoning in his meal , with whom earlier he had a treaty not to interfere in each other's affair.. Next  to the martyrdom of the elder grandson of  the holy Prophet ,  the great  tragedy of Karbala  happened  in  which  the  younger grand child of  the Prophet of Islam, Hazrat Imam Husain ( alaihis-salam ) along with his 72 trusted companions were brutally martyred on behest of the  greatest of tyrant of the time , Yazid  son  of  Moaviah contender to the post of the caliphate of the Prophet of Islam ,  who was a despot, drunkard , liar and a known  bad character ,  asking the obeyance from  the holy son of the holy daughter of the Prophet of Islam , asking  for  a  spiritual surrender on his filthy hands . Despite all odds , it was but natural for the Holy Imam to sacrifice the life of his 72 holy  companions , comprising of friends , relation , including children  , in defending and conserving the  faith rather than compromising on princples ,  which were  for him above everything else .He gracefully chose to lay down his life rather to on the surrender on the filthy hands of Yazeed ( God's curse be on him ) . Hazrat Husain  offered  the supreme sacrifice of his near and dear ones and ultimately  offered his own head rather than to agree to the spiritual obeyance to Yazid . All the 72 martyres including infant of only 6 months and the old friend of 80 laid their life without food or water at least for three days .While he  had absolutely no interest in the power or the kingdom , in which such distinguished family , never had the scantest interest but his obeyance to such despot ,  who had started calling himself the inheritor of the Islamic empire , amir-ul-momineen ( master of the devouts )  and also ridiculed the very concept of God, Quraan and Rasool , calling this  ( God forbid ) all humbug   ( Maaz Allah). He was often heard saying that "neither any prophet came nor anything revealed , and this has all been the figment of imagination of Mohammad " .  Hazrat Imam Husain ,true to his conviction towards the faith ,  leaving behind his family of infant and small children and grieving ladies to fend for themselves bearing , all indignities and insults, offered the Supreme sacrifice , that the earth  never had witnessed. It is no less than a miracle of miracles that not  even a small child from the families and friends and not even a single person among his followers questioned the wisdom of the Imam or pleaded him  to agree to the shameful demands of obeyance  to the  tyrant  Yazeid , which could have meant the surrender of truth in the hands of evil and the end of Islam .

The truth prevailes

After the great  martyrdom , tents , where the family of the grand son of Prophet Mohammad stayed were burnt , their belongings  looted ,  ladies and children were made prisoners and  taken to palace of Yazied where he hardly spared any indignities perpetrated on these divine  prisoners belonging to the sacred household. . Immediately on her brothers martyrdom and her nephew, the only survivor ,  being very sick , Hazrat Zainab, salam allah alaiha, the brave daughter of Hazrat Fatima and Hazrat Ali alaihissalat-o-salam ,  took over the task of her brother in the divine mission of the protection of the faith of her Grandfather and her speeches in the darbar of the tyrrant king have become a source of inspiration for all the coming generation .The great battle between 72 and the lakhs  spared only the life of the noble soul of the son of Hazrat Husain , Hazrat Imam Zainul Aabedeen (alaihissalam)  the pious grand son of Hazrat Ali alaihissalam and the great grand son of the Prophet of Islam , who was present on the scene but was too sick to participate in the holy war , having  been  unconscious most  of  the time and it was surly a divine design to spare his life for the future enlightening of the ummat and to give rise to future string of Imams , to lead and enlighten the generation to come till the time of Qayamat.  Yazeed and his followers may have succeded in killing the holy Imam and his followers in the battle of Karbala but utterly failed in their evil mission of destroying the faith , and after over 1300 years not only muslims but persons of all faith mourn their death in the holy month of moharram . In India , not only muslims but a lot of devout Hindus mourn this  holiest sacrifice and remember the last words of Imam that he is in no way to be a party to blood shed and even prepared to emigrate to Hindustan. No doubt that the name of Yazeid  has  become a  curse and a dirty word of abuse like in India Ravan the ultimate in Evil who could not defeat the Truth , When lord Rama killed him in a somewhat similar encounter against all odds but ultimately the truth prevailed .

The guidence continues

The faithful  believe that there is a  present Imam , a  descendent  of  Imam  Zain ul  Aabedeen alaihissalam  who is Guiding us from behind the curtain of invisibility and shall rule the destinies of the faithful till He is asked to reveal  Himself before the eye's of the inhabitants of the world and the lucky ummat who survive to see Him, appearing on the scene, filling up the world with truth and destroying the entire evil , to bring a perfectly  peaceful era till  the day of Qayamat  This is the belief of a large section of the Muslim Ummah both from the shia and the sunni sect and the appearance of the holy Christ at the same time has also been predicted by many. As for as the superlative qualities  of Hazrat Ali is concerned, again both the sects agree , but however there is some difference of opinion in Hazrat Ali , alaihissalam being the first and the only caliph ( lieutenant ) of the Prophet ,  while the other  sect also  considers him a Caliph alright, but  elected at the fourth stage. In between people believe the first caliph elected by consensus, the second one by nomination and the third one by inheritance. The fourth one was then Hazrat Ali  alaihissalam selected by consensus and was accepted by one and all. The opponents of this arrangement completely differ on the plea  that  the prophet hood is a  God's appointed  position , how can , the largely  ignorant  public of a particular area can select a spiritual  head, a successor of the Holy Prophet. It is  further argued ,  that even if , it is agreed that the local people after  holding a referendum , elected  a  particular person against the well documented declarations of the Propheet of Islam in this respect, how someone else could be considered to lead all  the future generation of the ummah, A large number of  hadees ( sayings ) of the Holy prophet of Islam, well documented and accepted by all section of peoples agreed and referred  by the historians of both the sects, that on more than one occasion, The Prophet of Islam declared that after him , Ali will be his lieutenant , his successor. He declared in a large assembly of people ,  that Ali is the Master of all those who consider me as their Master. ( Maula was the actual word used which is  translated as master here ) Then He further added  that whosoever befriended him is a friend of mine and the friend of God and who ever went against him is my enemy and an enemy of God. This should have cleared all kind of controversies once for all, but for the vested interests, who never had a real faith and commitment in Islam but had accepted Islam out of greed for power and for money, expected from the bounties available to be with the then majority rule.

Let us shed the differences

It is therefore  time that the wise men and women from all  over the world , from different Islamic , Christian , Budhist, Hindus and all other religious communities sit together or rather in this era of hi tech communications  have a live and sincere video conference from their respective places  and come to a consensus and resolve the differences. As these differences exist for so many centuries, one just can not have a wishful thinking that these chronic problems will just disappear and come to  an end but there was never a more  opportune time than is now to ponder over these matters of differences , sincerely . Even ,  if  no  consensus  is achieved ,which in all probability is more likely, let us agree to have our difference of  opinion of faith with us , but do not create any animosity or hatred  between the sects, between the regions and between the peoples of different castes and creeds and colors , which has to our belief , no relevance in the Islamic faith or in any other faith as for as our knowledge goes. In the Islamic  Faith  as we believe, there is no room for any discrimination and there is  no compulsion as the quoted Ayat  say 's  La ikraha fid -deen  with which the holy text , we started . So wherever   you find forced or coerced conversion , it just cannot be Islamic , whatever else it may be. . After all we cannot disagree to the fact that we are the creation of  the same God , we are the children of the same Adam and we  have faith in  the same series of Prophets, the last , being Prophet MOHAMMAD s.a.w.s. who  as a   Noor  ( which can at best be translated as a divine light )  , was  created  First ,  but appeared in  human form ,  in the Last  of the series  of Prophets .

To  continue  the  work assigned by  the Prophet of Islam  and  to guide  and enlighten the Ummat (followers) of all the  future generations , It is believed that  guidance  is still available from behind the veils . No one can be sure but it seems that the time is not far off when the Same invisible Guide  will reveal Himself as per the scheme of the Almighty God . It has been  well prophesied , the mention of which is found in scriptures of almost all faiths including the faith of the majority of people from which this Website is originated ie Hinduism in India. Reference could be found in ancient Hindu Scriptures, where the symptoms of Perlaiy  ( Qayamat ) are described much in the same way as muslims believe , and  have great similarities as for the signs of Qayamat are concerned  in Islamic faith . The appearance of a Holy , MAN  WHO will  unite the entire world is clearly predicted in many scriptures of the ancient India. Gautam the Budhdha as far back as  more than 3000 to 4000  years back predicted  the coming of MAHAMAT clearly a referance to MOHAMMAD( s.a.w.s) found in old scriptures of the time embedded on stone. And who knows He himself might have been a Prophet of his time. One can at least make a guess from his universal  policy of non-violence, the greatest virtue, human can acheive.. Then the Christian believe the Jesus Christ , a Son of God and who could deny this , after all  we are all a creation of His wisdom  only . If the Christians call him The God's son the  Muslim's call  Him , Rooh-ul-Allah , the Soul of God . So  where is the difference ? If we pick up only the commonalities and stress only on similarities, there can be only bliss , cordiality , cooperation , compassion , sympathy, and good neighborliness , nothing else .

It may then  be interesting to note , though out of context of this site , that a very famous astrologer who claims to have 90 % correct predictions in the past , have even given a  specific date when there will  be a Single  United rule throughout this  world . This is what otherwise many of us  believe and this is what we have been praying in all our prayers and have been waiting for . Our Astro  friend  predicts  this  at  around  the  middle  of  this  century. Well he may be 90% right or 100% true ,  let  us hope so, while people of the age of the author of this site, not in  his  wildest imagination , can hope to be living around , till then , to  confirm and  to  be lucky to  witness  this   most  AWAITED  moment of Total BLISS but the younger generation can very well  hope so .

Wa-as-Salam-o- Wa Rahmatallah-e-Wa Barkaatoh.( let there be welfare for all of  you  & may God shower His blessings on  you  all . And in the End  Wa Akhir-e-Dawana Wa Alhamd-o-Lil-Allah-e-Rabbil-Aalemeen.( And at the end , We pray for the welfare of you all by the Grace of God for whom all praise be, who is the Master of all the Universe) AMEEN.

Important dates and their significance

Confusion about the visibility of moon on the eve of the last day of the month is frequent. Consequently, decision as to the day of Eid-ul-fitr often varies. Due to overcast sky or dust hanging around the western horizon, the keenly awaited sight of the thin new moon is often illusionary. A software converter which instantly tells the corresponding dates of the Hijri and Gregorian calendar is brilliantly designed by Adel A Al-Rumaih  in 1996-97 and can be downloaded from Islamic sites. In case it is not available, with the help of this software, we will declare the probable date of sighting of moon on every 28th and 29th day of every lunar month.

The day of Eid-ul-Fitr comes on the completion of the month long fasting and is celebrated with great piety. The day starts with two rakat prayers in congregation. First read the niyat followed by takbeer, surae Hamd, then another surah surae sabbehismah and five times recitation of quonoot with hands raised as for doa. In the second rakat, after surae Hamd surae, read was-shams and then four times quonoot. The Eid prayer is best done in congregation behind a pesh imam (leader of the prayer) but in the event of not having one, it can be offered at home. Ladies should also pray in the same way on their own and in their home. It may be noted that there is no restriction in Islam for their offering prayers in congregation but in  separate rows a little away from men, whether in the mosque or in a suitable open space. The prayers on the two Eids are not wajib (mandatory ) but should be treated best  as such.

At the end besides feasting, treating guests, relations and neighbors, there is a compulsory element of taking out in cash or kind a sum equivalent to a little over a kg worth of wheat for every member of the family which should be given in charity to the poor and needy. This is often practiced in the form of sending it to an orphanage or a home for the less privileged.

For every believer of Islaam, once in a life time Hajj becomes mandatory for every adult man and woman who can afford, is fit and could perform the journey with the consent of parents if living and after having provided the family daily needs , though could be performed any number of times if eligible. Hajj pilgrimage on dates other than the Hajj proper is called Umrah .A journey is made to Makkah ,wearing ahram , a two piece white length of unsown fabric for the men and any dress in full hijab for the women is the beginning of the Hajj proceedings with 7 times circumbulations of Kaabah and seven times each a brisk walks starting from the hill of Safah to Marwah and back with stay overnight at Minah and stoning of the pillars representing the three satanic evils at Jamarat followed by sacrificial offering of an animal and shaving of the head ( for mens only) completes the Hajj rituals on 9th and 10th of  Zilhijjah .The celebration is in commemoration of the great sacrifice offered by  Prophet Ibrahim the  builder of the first house of worship in Islam that the Kabah is and which is also the birth place of Hazrat Ali Alaihis-Salaam ,cousin of Prophet Mohammad and who later was married to the Prophet's only daughter, Fatima Butool salaam Allah Alaiha the mother of Imam Hasan and Husain Alaihissalam Who also offered the greatest sacrifice in known history by laying down his life and the life of his seventy two trusted family members and companions including his only six months old son in defiance of the dictates of the tyrant king of the day Yazid ibne Moaviyah who wanted his allegiance and a surrender to his authority . A drunkard, characterless corrupt that he was , bowing to his dictates amounted to the end of the islamic faith so Husain AlaihissSalaam  flatly refused Bai-at , unmindful of the consequences which did appeared in the form of the great tragedy of Karbala on the 10th of  Moharram of the Year 61 Hijri corresponding to Tuesday 9th October 680 AD .

Good neighborly relations with one and all

The basic Islamic concept is peace, love, care and concern for all. Among the rights and responsibilities given to every God fearing pious muslim is to see before going to bed and ensure that nobody in the immediate neighborhood has gone without food. It is not necessary that the enjoinment is meant only for the peoples of one’s own community or religion. If for any reason, some ill informed, misguided and ignorant peoples still call themselves muslim, organize groups which spread terror among the sects and religions and involve in killings and destructions, the blame entirely lies to the individuals and their organizations and in no sense is islamic. These groups, often bearing fancy Islamic names or even bearing the name of the prophet of peace have no concern whatsoever with real Islaam. Any event to highlight such noble principles and practices of Islam shall be highly appreciated and find place in this site. If interested please

Labbaik Ya Mohammad (saws), Labbaik Ya Ali (alaih), Labbaik Ya Husain (alaih)and Labbaik ya Abbas Alaihisssalaam.

Islaam preaches and practices only peace and welfare for all mankind , however today's world is full of tyranny  terror and  crime. Extreme brutal treatments meted to helpless prisoners in Iraq came forward to the knowledge of everyone . Barbarism on the muslims of Iraq , desecration of holiest of the holy places in Najaf and Karbala by the forces of evil conglomerate is condemned by all the Sunni and the shia  Ulema Council of India and to express solidarity with the entire Islamic world particularly the Iraqi's, an absolutely peaceful All India Protest Rally is being  organized on 20th June 2004 at 10 AM at the Delhi's  Ram Leela Maidan , where a massive gathering is expected from all over the country . Convener Hujjatul Islam Maulana Saiyyad Kalbe Jawwad Sahab of Lucknow .

Terrorism by so called freedom of expression . In recent months great upheaval was created by publishing and reprinting caricatures of Prophet Mohammad (saws) by various agencies . Muslims have around the world peacefully protested against this shameful act but all the protests have been by far peaceful and without violence of any kind though in retaliation a few life were also lost, more ever the protest came about after several month of that evil publications , much because of the voluntary restraints, because it was an insult no doubt but for the same Rasool (saws) whose path were often littered with filth and thorns and household refuse and dust were thrown on him, while he once visited to find the cause of missing mischief as the old lady fell ill one day and was so ashamed finding the prophet of Islam Coming to ask for her welfare.

We all Muslims of the world condemn this act of sacrilege and expect an apology from the perpetrators of the sin who knew not what they were doing and how immensely they were hurting the feelings of the community who dare not retaliate in the same way as they have the same regards and respect for the founders of their religions and  consider them too as most eminent messenger of God .
